Kèr Sètkec (/sɛt/ /kec/ [cream; milk] [wise]) is a subtropical Town located in the Màvēvāv Region of the Tetbur Commune.

The name Kèr Sètkec is derived from the Tauric language, as Kèr Sètkec was founded by Giant Spiders Hughes, who was culturaly Tauric.

Climate

Kèr Sètkec has a yearly average temperature of 28°C (82°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a hot 31°C (87°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a pleasant 25°C (77°F). Kèr Sètkec receives an average of 210 cm/y (82 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the fall. Overview

Kèr Sètkec was founded durring the early 12th century in fall of the year 1128, by Giant Spiders Hughes. The establishment of Kèr Sètkec suffered from several major issues, resulting in the need to develop many solutions to basic problems. Problems such as a lack of fresh water, logistical support, poor quality tools, and the odd monster or two. Howeaver, these were overcome in time.

Kèr Sètkec was built using the conventions of Tauric durring the early 12th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Kèr Sètkec is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature plaster covered brickwork used to form structures with an emphasis on symmetry, proportion, geometry and the regularity of parts. Orderly arrangements of columns, pilasters and lintels, as well as the use of semicircular arches, hemispherical domes, niches and aediculae can be found everywhere such that only size of building and yard can be used to measure the general prosparity of a given building's owners due to a general wealthy feeling the style gives off.

Kèr Sètkec is is constructed arround a semi-circular restrictive baked earthen mainstreet, with smaller strait roads linking the circiles to eachother at varrious points. The town has a defencive wall made from large clay bricks. The wall is constructed to the exact specifications of millitary fortifications, but the nature of its clay brick construction leaves it vulnerable to even outdated siege equipment. That said, the town is well defended against anything short of an army. The brittle defences have not been wellmaintained over the years, and while functional are in dire need of some loving care and perhapse light renovation.

Kèr Sètkec has the unmistakable air of a town on its last legs. Everything is a bit slipshod and ramshackle. Everyone is at work, or drinking. No one has anything in their eyes other than fear and despair. Whatever industry once fueled Kèr Sètkec ’s existence has dried up and the town is drifting down the stream of history as it dries up.

Cultural Notes

Kèr Sètkec's chapel was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is best known for its striking sculptural forms and often dazzling ornamental detail that characterizes the buildings general shape. The radiant colors, rich patterns, and symmetrical silhouettes employed by this style were backed up by rich decorative features including gardens, courtyards, extruded arches, domes, pointed domes, vaulted ceilings, elaborate painted and inlaid designs, and decorative sculptures.

In Kèr Sètkec every night at precisely midnight every structure in town is engulfed by sailors fire until the end of the witching hour.
